Bio

Ken manages the field operations of the sweetpotato breeding program. He has been with the program since 1992, when he was a graduate student in the breeding program. After completing his master’s degree in 1995, Ken transitioned into working for the program full-time. He enjoys the challenge of combining traits into new varieties that solve industry problems and create new opportunities for growers and consumers.
